We are relaunching the Backseat Goodbye Street Team, Daydreamers! Under Chad’s supervision, Hannah (www.anattempttoforget.tumblr.com), Kelsey (www.underthesecolorss.tumblr.com) and myself (Mindy www.carvehearts.tumblr.com) will be taking over! We have a lot of things in store for you so we hope you are all up to helping us out!
Our first task will be to promote Backseat Goodbye at the Glamour Kills Tour if you are going! This is a simple, fun, and effective task. Who wouldn’t want to talk about their favorite band while watching some of their other favorites?! And GK is a great place to do it! There are a lot of bands going to GK tour so in between sets strike up a convo with the people around you! Just say you’re a part of the street team and talk about BG even if they don’t go home and listen at least they will know the name!
Tip #1: if you are at the GK tour, tell them that BG and The Ready Set used to tour together! Maybe even mention the picture where Jordan is wearing the Technicolor Eyes shirt! Tip #2: If you are going soon make sure you tell people there is a free download of The Good Years this week! Since people might forget, you can just write it down on little pieces of paper to hand out, nothing too fancy. It can be found on his website (www.backseatgoodbye.com) Just make it look like a informal note you’d pass to someone in class, you know?
Tip #3: Not good at starting conversations? Wear a piece of BG merch! People ALWAYS ask questions about it especially if you have the technicolor eyes shirt!
Tip #4: Be nice! Don’t force it on people! Just try to spread the word any way you can! A concert is your best audience to do it!
